Foreigners are exempt from obtaining approval from the FIC for the purchase of secondary or newly launched shop houses, commercial and office space exceeding RM150,000 per unit while the same shall apply for the purchase of residential property exceeding RM250,000 per unit with no limit on the number of properties acquired.
